Podcasts get me through the rough days. Every time I turn on one of my favorite podcasts, it feels like a juicy TV show or book, but better. Podcasts get me through long bus rides and keep me company while traveling. They also make me feel less of an outcast, less crazy for my instinctual thoughts and ideas. These podcasts put me in a good mood and make me an overall happier person, so I thought I’d share.

Just for Fun Podcasts
The podcasts I listen to for pure leisure.
The Goop Podcast
The Goop Podcast is an extension of the Goop Lab Netflix docu-series (if you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend binge-watching ASAP!) Gwyneth Paltrow and Elise Loehnen interview free-thinkers, industry disrupters, and “out-of-the-box” beings. It’s thought-provoking and eye-opening. I love it!

Favorite episode: Vegan Voyage Around the World
Sex with Emily by Dr. Emily Morse
Emily is a sex and relationship expert and hosts one of the longest-running sex-related podcasts. Did any of you ever watch “Sex with Sue” growing up on late-night TV? I always watched Sue talk about sex so comfortably and I wondered why it was such a hidden, secretive topic. Emily is a modern-day version of Sue.
Emily’s goal is to make the taboo topic of sex and relationships an accessible, approachable topic. Let me tell you, I am never bored while listening to Emily. She interviews interesting people, answers honest e-mails, and talks about important topics.
Favorite episode: No Shame, Just Sex

Motivational Podcasts
There are a lot of great motivational podcasts for entrepreneurs out there. Personally, I am super picky about my “business/motivation” podcasts. If I smell an ounce of fakeness, I turn it off. I know building a business is hard, I need my podcast mentors to be transparent and real AF. Or I can’t listen.
Screw the Nine to Five
This is my favorite podcast of all time. It’s the podcast I go to when I need a kick in the pants. Jill and Josh Stanton interview entrepreneurs on several different topics so that you can create an impactful business. Their mission is to inspire you to live a life on your own terms (and to screw the 9-5!!)
Favorite episode: How To Change The Way You Think About Money To Attract More of It with Ian Stanley
